Funeral service for Tonya Renee Jones, age 37, of Tipton will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 13, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Tipton with Rev. Les Banks and Rev. Paul Beam officiating. Burial will follow in the Tipton Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Mrs. Jones passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at her home.
Tonya Renee Davis Jones was born on March 8, 1976 in Houston, Texas to Alton Doyle and Shirley Jean (Ritchie) Davis. She attended Tipton Public Schools and graduated from Tipton High School in 1995. While in high school, she played basketball with all her heart as a Tipton Tiger. She was united in marriage to Christopher David Jones on September 13, 1997 in Tipton. She loved being a wife and was a passionate mother who supported her children in their endeavors whether it be their sporting activities or stock shows. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tipton.
She is survived by her husband Chris of the home; her children, Corey, Christa, Cameron "Camo" and C.J. Jones all of the home; her parents, Al and Shirley Davis of Tipton; her brother, Alton Dewayne "Roper" Davis and his wife Jamie of Hollis; her grandmother, Merle Jackson of Mart, Texas; an adopted grandmother, Marilyn Good of Tipton; aunts and uncles Rawlene McDaniel, Cliff and Karen Davis and Reba and Martin Robinette; her in-laws, Mark and Pam Jones of Tipton; her brother-in-law, Mark Allen Jones and a host of cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Dale and Dorothy Ritchie; her paternal grandfather, Louis Davis and one uncle, Gale Ritchie.
