Longtime Detroit Free Press entertainment reporter. Wrote a column for the Detroit Free Press from the 1960's until 1993. She was known for an endearing, non-confrontational style which allowed her to become friends with many of the celebrities she coverd. She recounted her adventures which included visits to Vietnam with Bob Hope and her trips to the Pyramids with Frank Sinatra, in a 1973 book called "Not This Time, Cary Grant." Eder was a regular on both television and radio, including entertainment segments on Detroit's WJBK-TV2, WXYZ Channel 7 and WJR-AM radio. Cause of death - Alzheimer's Disease
