Funeral for Willie Shirley Case Mitchell, 103, of Decatur will be Friday, August 2, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Alton Bailey and Mike McLemore officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Mitchell, who died Tuesday, July 30, 2013, was born December 20, 1909, in Hillsboro to William S. Case and Josephine Hallmark Case. Mrs. Mitchell worked at Cooper Well Hosiery Mill until it closed in the 1930s and started work at Decatur High School cafeteria in 1960 until retirement in 1971. She was a member of Mizpah Eastern Star Lodge No. 19. She was preceded in death by her father; two sisters, Elizabeth Wood and Lula Woodruff; and husbands, W.W. Brown Sr., Joe Eubanks and Ivie M. Mitchell.

Survivors include one daughter, Betty Jean Brown Caris of Decatur; four grandchildren, James Slaton, Pamala Slaton, Kimberly D. Caris and Johann W. Caris; six great-grand- children and eight great-great-grandchildren.
