Died in Enid.
H.H. Allen was called to Enid, Okla., today on account of the rather sudden death of his father, John Allen. The death of the elder Mr. Allen occurred last night. It is said that the cause of death was pneumonia. Mr. Allen had been working with his son here in the grocery business and went to Enid the day after Thanksgiving to visit with a daughter. The body will be brought here for burial, arriving tonight on the Frisco at 6:20 o'clock. Arrangements for the funeral have not been made. Mr. Allen was 62 years old. Besides the son Hollis, he leaves another son, Loui, and three daughters. The deceased had been a resident of Arkansas City for a number of years.
