Cyrus was born in Pandora, Wilson County, Texas, to Ferdinand McReynolds Ware and Sallie “Sadie” Elizabeth Irvin.
He graduated Nixon High School, Nixon, Texas in 1947. He owned and operated a dairy farm in Stockdale, Texas where he made his home. On February 21, 1959, he married Mildred Dean Rehfeld in Wilson County, Texas. They had six children.
Predeceased by his parents, eight siblings-Maude Ware, Gene Ware Maples, Joyce Elizabeth Ware Leasman, Dove Ware McCarran, Ella Louise Ware Caperton, Frances Effie Ware Shindler, Ferdinand Maxwell Ware and Dorothy Virginia Ware Caperton; one grandchild, Joshua Lee Garza; and one great grandchild, Kobe Allen Ware.
Cyrus is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mildred Dean Rehfeld Ware, and six children-Melissa Gail Soefje (Adolph); Ferd Fitzgerald Ware (Shannon); John Wesley Ware (Elma); Michael Paul Ware (Pam); Elizabeth Ann French (Wayne); Richard Millhouse Ware (Ollie).
He leaves a legacy of twenty-three grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren in addition to numerous nieces & nephews.
