Major League Baseball Player. He played Major League baseball as a catcher for five seasons (1918, 1921 to 1923, 1927) with the Chicago White Sox, New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox and New York Giants. Despite having a Major league career that consisted of 198 Games Played, 57 Runs Batted In and 2 Home Runs, he managed to appear in a World Series with the Yankees. In 1921, he appeared as a pinch-runner in Game 7 in the Series that saw the Babe Ruth-led Yankees lose to the John McGraw’s New York Giants, 5 Games to 3.
