Watergate Figure. He was the United States Central Intelligence officer best known for helping to organize the 1972 Watergate break-in. He also was an organizer of both a Guatemalan coup and the Bay of Pigs invasion, and author of more than 80 books, most of them were of the spy-tale genre.
