A former teacher at St. Theresa's Primary School, St. Michael's Primary School, and the Erne School, she had also taught in Scotland for a time. She enjoyed: 'line dancing, painting, music, reading and along with both her children she was a keen follower of the Grand Prix.' She suffered from cancer for several years, but continued to enjoy life to the end.
Funeral mass was held at St. Michael's, Enniskillen.
