Ted was the son of Teddy and Gladys Eubanks. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Aletha and survived by another sister, Estelle. Ted was married early in life and from that union came two sons and one daughter, two grandsons and four granddaughters. He received his education in the public school system in Ft. Worth and at Texas Christian University.

Ted was an engineer in his professional life. He also owned and managed several plants through the years all over Texas.

Ted and Jane were married on January 28, 1980. He was like a father to Jane's two daughters and was a wonderful grandfather to her five grandchidren. They simply adored him and they had his total love and devotion. He loved having the kids around and was so proud of them all. He had a real love for his horses and cows. One of his favorite things since his retirement was caring for his animals.

Ted was a wonderful husband and provider for his family. He was well liked by everyone who knew him. He was a quiet man but spoke with confidence about so many things. He was a very intelligent man and was an expert in many fields.

Ted died while cutting trees on our property. He and his best friend were cutting down dead trees from off the fence line. Ted was hit by a falling tree and died instantly. There is no "good" way to die, but Ted was doing what he loved best...working on our farm and taking care of the land he loved so dearly.

He will be missed by so many in his community. He was a faithful member of the Sand Hill Church of Christ.
