Bernard R. Beckett,61, of St. Albans died Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital, Charleston.
He was born May 11, 1946 and was a son of the late Jack and Billie Beckett.
He was an Army veteran with 20 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine; sons, Dennis Cain of St. Albans, Bernard Beckett also of St. Albans and Jeffrey Beckett of Charleston; sister, Lois Jarrett of Robinson; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 2 pm Saturday, December 29 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with the Rev. Ray Barker officiating. Burial will follow in Jarrett Cemetery, Robinson with military graveside rights performed by Daniel Boone Post 5578, Madison, West Virginia
