Professional Race Car Driver. The youngest of three Swiss race car driver brothers, Gaston Chevrolet's greatest moment came when he won the 1920 Indianapolis 500, driving a car designed by his oldest brother Louis. Tragically, he was killed in a racing accident at the Beverly Hills (CA) Speedway less than 6 months after his greatest triumph.
