She married Gen. I. N. Haynie, and shortly after moved to Cairo. Just before the war she moved to this city in company with her family, and has since remained here. During the war Gen. Haynie was adjutant general of the state. He died in 1865. Mrs. Haynie was a woman of high and noble character and was admired by all who knew her. She was a member of St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral.
She leaves to mourn her loss three daughters, Miss Mollie Haynie, who is a sister of charity in St. Louis; Mrs. Percival H. Ryan, formerly of St. Paul, Minn., but who removed to New York about a year ago, and Mrs. William W. Tracy, of Chicago, wife of ex-President Tracy, of the National League of Republican clubs, and a son, Edward Haynie of St. Paul, Minn. Mrs. Ryan and Mrs. Tracy have already arrived here, while Miss Haynie and Mr. Haynie will arrive to-day. The remains were brought from St. Louis last night by Mrs. Percival Ryan and Charles Ryan, of this city, and were taken to Mrs. Haynie's home, Sixth street.
