Canadian World War I Army Officer. He served during World War I as a Lieutenant in the 4th Canadian Mounted Rifle (Central Ontario) regiment. He was killed in action at Vimy Ridge, France.

Son of William Burling Abbey and Katharine Eleanor Abbey, of Mifflin St., Philadelphia, Pa., U.S.A.

His family erected a cenotaph for him in the family plot in Saint Andrew's Graveyard, Mount Holly, New Jersey.
