" MRS. C. BEST DIES AT 76 IN EMLENTON
St. Petersburg - Mrs. Cora E. Best, 76, of Emlenton RD 3, (Turkey City) died at 12:35 a.m. Thursday at her home following a lingering illness. She was born February 16, 1889, in Turkey City, the daughter of Charles and Katherine Martz Klingler. Mrs. Best was a member of the Church of God of Turkey City. Surviving are her husband, Clemons E. Best; two sons, Edward of Sligo and Ivan of Turkey City; two daughters, Mrs. June Poland of Dunkirk, N.Y., and Mrs. Kay Weller of Emlenton RD1; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Jones of Erie and Mrs. Katherine DeHart of Turkey City, six brothers, Edward of Turkey City, Charles of Foxburg, Peter of Knox RD, Daniel of Pleasantville, Earl of Titusville and James of Fairfield, Ohio; and seven grandchildren. A brother, Roy and a sister, Pearl, are deceased. Friends are being received at the Karle D. McKinney Funeral Home in St. Petersburg. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Rev. Martin Helsel of the Church of God of Turkey City will officiate at the services. Interment will be in St. Mark Cemetery at Monroe."
