Funeral for Bertie M. Price, 82, of Danville will be Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Campbell officiating.

Burial will be in Caddo Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Price died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2004, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Nov. 19, 1921, in Lawrence County to Benjamin Albert Rose and Geneva Nolan Terry Rose. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Herbert Price.

Survivors include one son, Ben Price of Humble, Texas; two daughters, Scharlotte McAbee of Danville and Deb Rhodes of Richmond, Texas; one brother, Grady Rose of Town Creek; two sisters, Dorothy Sellers and Shirley Brackin, both of Decatur; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Randy McAbee, Jason McAbee, Charles Rose, Dustin Rhodes, Ronnie Edney and Kenneth Moats.
