William Hayes Acklen.
The funeral of William Hayes Acklen, only son of Col. and Mrs. J.H. Acklen, will take place at the residence in West End this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Dr. W.M. Anderson will officiate, and the body will be laid to rest in the Acklen Family vault at Mt. Olivet.
The death of this child, bringing acute sorrow on his immediate family circle, will affect a host of friends to whom the little one was known. He was a bright, attractive child, possessed of unusual magnetism and charm, and promising already a character of strength and originality.
