Beverly A. Beauford, also known as "Bev", 65, of Neptune, died Sunday, Oct. 12, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, after a lengthy illness. She was a lifelong resident of the Asbury Park/Neptune area. Beverly was employed at CECOM-Fort Monmouth, and retired after 19 years. She was loved by everyone she came in contact with and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by a daughter, Wanda D. Beauford of Ocean Township; a son, Willie J. Beauford Jr. of Neptune; her companion, Nathaniel Griffith of Tinton Falls; two grandsons, Tyrell J. Durant and Tareek J. Lester, both of Neptune; a great-granddaughter, Amya J. Durant of Neptune; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Hagerman Sr. of Tinton Falls; three sisters, Irene Johnson of Dover, Del., Jacqueline Hester of Lakewood, and Deborah Ramsey of Tinton Falls; a brother, William "Hameed Hagerman Jr. of Tinton Falls; three brothers-in-law, Jerome Hester, William Johnson, and Daryn Ramsey; two sisters-in-law, Ann Hagerman and Inez Beauford; a devoted uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wiltshire of Asbury Park; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visiting hours will be from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the funeral at 10:30 a.m. at the James H. Hunt Funeral Home, 126 Ridge Ave., Asbury Park. Interment will be in Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls. Letters of condolence for the family can be emailed to the funeral home ([email protected]).
