Born in Shenandoah, he was the adopted son of the late Francis and Beatrice J. Walburn Longenberger. He resided in Bloomsburg most of his lifetime.
Jim was employed by Kawneer Corp., Bloomsburg, for 25 years and was last employed by Bloomsburg Glass & Mirror Co., retiring in 2004.
Surviving are his wife of 29 years Barbara L. Parker; a daughter, Amber Hahn, Bloomsburg; a son, Quinn Longenberger and his wife Julia, Philadelphia; four grandchildren; Jordan Longenberger, Lindsey Hahn, Tamsin Longenberger, Owen Longenberger; two brothers; Robert Longenberger and his wife, Johonna, Shickshinny; and Martin Longenberger and his wife Sonja S., Bloomsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
At his request, he was creamated, with ashes given to family. His memorial is located at The Old Rosemont Cemetery, Bloomsburg.
