Alyce Blue Ageon went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 18, 2009. Alyce was surrounded by her loving family when she went to her heavenly home. God had blessed her with over 93 years of life and she was loved by everyone who met her.

A celebration of Alyce's wonderful life will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 20, at Shannon Hills Bible Chapel. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

Alyce was a member of Forest Avenue Tabernacle, now known as Shannon Hills Bible Chapel, where she was the oldest living Charter member for a total of 68 years. She was an exceptional witness for God in every way and she inspired thousands of individuals to follow the same path. Alyce's faith and love of God was evident by the light in her eyes and the smile on her face.

Alyce was preceded in death by her her husband, John Dennis Ageon; her parents, John Harvey and Nina Clarke Blue, and three brothers, Walter Blue, Harvey Blue and George Blue.

She is survived by her son, Michael Ageon and wife, Cindy Ageon; her daughter, Wendy Jones and husband, Jesse Jones; two grandchildren, Michael Ageon Jr. and wife, Courtney, and Mark Ageon; one great-granddaughter, Rylee Nicole Ageon.
