BLACKSON, Myrtle A. age 87, of Beavercreek, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2009. She was born June 5, 1921 in Crooksville, OH, the daughter of Cyrus M. and Stella M. (Tracey) Klingler. She owned and operated the Beauty Shop in Beavercreek and was a beautician for over 40 years. Myrtle was a charter member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church and a member of Eastern Star 555 (Belmont). She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Blackson; both parents; and 7 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Ronald Blackson, Carol Brassington, Shirley Blackson, and Richard Blackson; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four brothers and sisters; special friend, Tammy Neikamp. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel with Eastern Star services. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 10:00 at St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Beavercreek. Interment will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
