Edwin L. "Lew" Allsup, 50, Mountain Bell Telephone executive in the Billings office, died Monday morning of an apparent heart attack.
Allsup was taken to Deaconess Hospital intensive care unit at 8:30 a.m. Monday and died two hours later.
He had been with the Bell Telephone system for 31 years and resided with his family at 1043 Miles Ave. at the time of his death.
In the Billings office, Allsup held the position of communications consultant-special accounts.
