Professional Wrestler, Boxer, Finnish Politician. Active in many fields, he is best known in the United States as a professional wrestler under the name Ludvig Borga. During Halme's wrestling career (1990 to 2003) he won championships in both the Catch Wrestling Association (CWA) and World Wrestling Federation (WWF). As a prizefighter in his homeland he held the Finnish Heavyweight Championship twice (1997 and 2003) and had a record of 13 wins and 6 losses. He also had four published books to his credit and produced an album and four pop single hits (which were recorded in his native language). In 2003 Halme was elected to the Finnish House of Parliament and served one term in that office. He then virtually retired from public life and applied for medical disability, his physical and mental health failing from years of drug and alcohol abuse. On January 10, 2010, Halme was found in his small apartment in Helsinki with a single gunshot wound to his head. The coroner ruled that he had committed suicide two days after his 47th birthday.
