Grandma married E.E. Holtzclaw on May 5, 1923, and together they had five children. They were divorced, leaving Grandma to raise their children. Grandma remarried in 1950, to Roy L. Copeland in Altus, Okla. He died in 1965.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Eastern Star and the Methodist church in Lone Wolf, Okla.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Edna Holtzclaw, on Jan. 28, 1938, and two sons, Billy Joe Holtzclaw on July 17, 1965, and George Richard Holtzclaw on June 28, 1941.

Allen J. Holtzclaw of Lubbock died 11 months later on 03/26/1999 and her daughter, Rosy Geneva Hunt of Lubbock died in May, 2001; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
