WILLIAM CLINGMAN, aged 86, a resident of Chicago since 1945, died suddenly late Tuesday night at the residence of his son, George F. Clingman, 7210 Euclid avenue. For many years he was engaged in the tailoring business. Mr. Clingman was married in 1849 and at that time resided where the Palmer house now stands. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Euclid residence.
