Mr. Wright, 75, of Route 1, Irmo, SC, died Sunday at his home.
He was a member of Broad River Pentecostal Holiness Church and a retired employee of Pacific Mills.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Norma Worley of Columbia, Mrs. Jacqueline Lucas of Gaston, and Mrs. Doris Allen of Irmo; five sons, Charles E. Wright of West Columbia and Joseph W., Carl W., Paul W., and John C. Wright of Irmo, a sister, Mrs. Emily Marsh of Long Beach, Calif., two brothers, Eugene Wright of Lexington and John C. Wright of Columbia, 20 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that those who wish may make memorials to Carolina Children's Home.
