Ellen Leslie, aka (A-ne) 82, was borned March 4th, 1919 in Casa, Ark. to the late William Oscar aka (Bill Jack) and Addie Outlaw Madison. A-ne was a dedicated daughter that cared for her totally bed-ridden Mother (from crippling arthritis)in her own home for many many years, until her death in 1976. She also served as a wonderful support for her brother J.B.

A-ne was repaid during her final time on earth for the love and devotion she gave to her Mother, by receiving the same care from her sister Wanda, two special nieces, Betty McCabe and LaNelle Davis, and neighbors the Manley family. All assisted her tremendously. A-ne died Feb. 4th, 2002 at Hayti Nursing Center.

Preceding A-ne in death were three brothers, J.B., George and Buck Madison. Surviving are one son Jerry Leslie of Byhalia Ms., two grandchildren and one great grandson, one sister, Wanda Apple of Dardanelle, Ar., one brother, Jack Madison of Russellville, Ar. and host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends that love her very much.
Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6th at Bradshaw-Osburn Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Griff Walker of Wardell Baptist Church officiated. Burial followed in the Woodland Cemetery at Hayti. Pallbeares were Gerald Davis, John Fisher, Jim Madison, Steve Leslie, Parker Manley and Ronnie Manley.

You are loved beyond words, missed beyond measure.
Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure.
