Comedian, Actor. He appeared on stage and in motion pictures. A veteran of the Vaudville entertainment circuit, in 1946, he obtained success in the Broadway musical "Call Me Mister". He is best remembered as one of the sailors in 1949 film "On The Town". He appeared in the films "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" (1949) and "Silk Stockings" (1957). He died from a heart attack shortly before his 55th birthday.
