Florine went to be with our Lord on December 15, 2004 at the age of 88. She was born in Bethany, Oklahoma on February 26, 1916. She moved to Auburn, CA in 1952 where she and her husband, Stan opened and ran Edgewood Supply Hardware Store for 35 years. She was a former member of Auburn Soroptomist Club, Placer Crawlers Trailer Club and a Pink Lady Volunteer at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital. She is preceded in death by her husband Stan and brother Bud Read. She is survived by her sister Marcella Atkins of Eureka, CA; son and daughter-in-law Gary and Bonnie Longmore of Fernley, NV; son Leroy Longmore of Grangeville, ID; and daughter and son-in-law Judy and Tom Milam of Auburn, CA; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Monday, December 20, 2004 at 10 AM at the New Auburn Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Hilltop Manor for their compassionate care3.
