She worked as a head cashier for Loblaws in Erie before her retirement. She was a member of Emmanuel Methodist Church in North East and the Hornby Historical Society.
She was preceded in death by a grandson.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Carl Berringer, whom she married March 19, 1959; two daughters, Alberta Phanco of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., and Patricia Ann Davis and her husband, William, of Tijeras, N.M.; a brother, Robert A. Evans of Paradise Valley, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Grahamville Cemetery.
