Virginia V. Ashby, 60, of 155 E. County Line Road, Calimesa, died Friday in Redlands. She was born in Indiana and lived in Calimesa three months. She formerly lived in San Bernardino.
Survivors include a son, Dennis A. of Upland; a daughter, Victoria Alice Ashby of San Diego; two brothers, Harold L. Harris of Culver City and Virgil Harris of Los Angeles; and a sister, Dora Burns of Georgia.
Friends may call today at the Emmerson-Bartlett Redlands Chapel. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. tomorrow at the Rialto Park Cemetery, Rialto.

When Virginia Harris was born on October 25, 1914, in Indiana, her father, Paul, was 27 and her mother, Flora, was 27. She married Harland Winston Ashby in 1945. They had two children during their marriage. She died on February 7, 1975, in San Bernardino, California, at the age of 60, and was buried in Rialto, California.
