Her membership was faithful and ardent. She was an obedient servant of God, and her commitment to her promise was kept until her death.
Carrie Simmons was a member of the Miracle Healing Temple Church, Inc. serving as a former choir director, member of the Mother and usher boards and a former soloist for the Miracle Healing Temple Radio Broadcast.
Carrie attended public schools in Baldwin County, Georgia and graduated from Carver High School. In 1953 she married John Edward Simmons, Sr.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 24, 2001 at Chapel of All Faiths Church on Swint Avenue in Milledgeville, Georgia.
