She was employed as a chief accountant in the Baltimore-Annapolis area, retiring after 45 years of service.
She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Lappans.
She was a 65-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and past matron of both Olivebranch Chapter 34 and Annapolis Chapter 46. She was a member and past president of the Boonsboro Homemakers.
She volunteered at Anne Arundel General Hospital for 10 years, as well as Washington County Hospital.
