Convicted serial killer. Born to teenage parents Diane and Leo Pittman, who later abandoned her. She gave birth to a son in 1971. Aileen drifted around the country, ending up in Florida. Aileen was executed in Florida's Starke Prison. Her last words were, "I'd just like to say I'm sailing with the rock, and I'll be back like Independence Day, with Jesus, June 6. Like the movie, big mother ship and all, I'll be back." A childhood friend claimed her body and scattered her cremains under a walnut tree in her back yard, near where she and Aileen grew up. Her life is the subject of the movie "Monster," with Charlize Theron portraying her.
