He was born about 1741 and married about 1768 Henrietta Constantia, daughter of the Hon. Richard Worsam of Barbados, and was for many years a merchant in this city. He was buried in the grounds of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, on Fourth Street, in a vault about twenty feet west of the church edifice, and six or eight feet south of the central avenue.
