US Congressman. Brother of US Congressman Lawrence Joseph Connery, he attended Montreal College Canada, and Holy Cross College Massachusetts. He was theatrical actor and engaged as a theater manager. During World War I, he served in the 101st Regiment, United States Army, in France. After the war, he was an electric company employee engaged in the manufacture of candy in 1921 and was secretary to the Mayor of Lynn Massachusetts. In 1923, he was elected as a Democrat to the Sixty-eighth Congress and to the next seven succeeding Congresses and served until his death at age 48.
