Washington homemaker was Johnstown native Emma K. Stickle, 85, of Washington, died Saturday, August 17, 2002, in Presbyterian Medical Center, Washington, following a 10-year illness. She was born March 2, 1917, in Johnstown, a daughter of Edward and Ada Hose Favorite. Mrs. Stickle was a homemaker. On March 12, 1936, she married Arthur L. Stickle, who died April 29, 1996. Surviving are three sons, W. Thomas, Richard and Harry Stickle, all of Tampa, Fla.; four daughters, Janet Pinkerton, Sue Pomykala and Linda Setto, all of Washington, and Kathleen Setto of Houston; a sister, Mary Janflone of Washington; 24 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Deceased are two brothers, Joseph and Francis "Buck" Favorite; three sisters, Agnes Tilton-Arneson, Elizabeth Havener and Gladys Chappel; and a daughter, Nancy Garner.

STICKLE - Friends of Emma K. Stickle of Washington, who died Saturday, August 17, 2002, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 21, with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. Interment will be in Enon Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations to American Heart Association or American Cancer Society, 357 East Maiden Street, Washington, PA 15301.
