She was the daughter of Eugene Larsen and Agnes Sullivan. She married her high school sweetheart, Ray Ellsworth Aitken, April 18, 1945.
During WWII, she worked for financial institutions in Los Angeles and Oakland, California. After her husband's discharge from the Navy, they returned to Spanish Fork, where she raised a family of four boys: Ray Eugene (Sunny) of Kanosh, UT, Michael of Salt Lake City, UT, Kim (Gala) of Cardston, Alberta, Canada, and Scott (Phyllis) of Spanish Fork, UT.
While raising a family, she was employed in garment factories in Provo and Spanish Fork. When she retired, she was working as a medical assistant for a doctor's clinic in Spanish Fork.
There will be a private viewing for family at Walker Funeral Home in Spanish Fork at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, followed by a private family graveside service at Spanish Fork City Cemetery, at 11 a.m
