Eliene Viola Blue Argo, 86, of Marysville, formerly of Raymond, died Monday, Jan. 22, 2001, at Heartland of Marysville.

A lifetime resident of Union County, she was a homemaker and a member of the Country Culture Club in Raymond. She was a former volunteer for Memorial Hospital of Union County, with more than 3,000 volunteer hours. She worked mostly in direct care, delivering meals to inpatients. She was a well-known seamstress and was an advisor for the Sew Just So 4-H Club in Raymond. She enjoyed baking and was famous for her pastries and desserts. She was born Aug. 6, 1914, in Union County to the late Philis and Mabel Turner Blue and in 1989 was predeceased by a granddaughter, Linda Bushong, and her husband, Floyd Argo.

She is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline (Ted) Bushong of Marysville; a son, Charles (Sue) Argo of Marysville; seven grandchildren, Ed (Becky) Bushong of Milford Center, Teri (Steve) Davis of Huntsville, Ala., Connie Neibarger of Hilliard, Kim (Bruce) Eberly of Marysville, Kelly (Kevin) Hall of Milford Center and Krista (Mark) Perry and Karol (Colin) Parks of Marysville; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Winston Blue of Jacksonville, Fla.; and a sister, Leona Mae King of Attica.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Frank E. Kampel will officiate and burial will be beside her husband at the Raymond Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday. Memorial contributions may be mad to the Memorial Hospital of Union County Auxiliary in care of the funeral home
