Mrs. Wilhelmina (Alma) Mayer, 91, of Reedsville Manor Reedsville
died Tuesday evening at Maple Crest Nursing Home, Whitelaw.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at First Reformed
United Church of Christ, Manitowoc. The Rev. William A. Schultz
will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Mayer nee Wilhelmina Freidenberger was born Feb. 19, 1885 in
Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Frank and Anna Maloulik
Freidenberger. She lived in Manitowoc County all her life. She was
married to Henry L. Mayer Feb. 18, 1903 at Manitowoc. He preceded
her in death in December of 1940. She was a member of First Reformed
United Church of Christ and Gold Star Mothers.
Survivors include a son, Arthur, of Two Rivers, a daughter, Mrs.
Arthur (Wilma) Meyer, of Rt. 2, Reedsville; 11 grandchildren and
nine great grandchildren. Three sons, an infant son, Elmer and
Reuben and Norman, and 11 half brothers and sisters preceeded her
in death.
Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of
arrangements. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to
First Reformed United Church of Christ.
