George Milbauer, 55, died suddenly of a heart attack here Sunday morning.
He was stricken at his rooming house on North 11th street, and died enroute
to the hospital in the ambulance.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. from the Wattawa, Urbanek
and Schlei funeral home and at nine o'clock from the Holy Innocents church, the
Rev. E.A. Radey officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. Members of
the Legion will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Milbauer was born in Kellnersville in 1887 and spent most of his life on
farms in that vicinity. He served in World War I, entering the service in
Decmeber, 1917 and being discharged at Camp Grant in January, 1919. He was a
member of Company D, 10th battalion, U.S. Army.
Two years ago Mr. Milbauer came to this city to take employment at the Manitowoc
Ship Building Company.
He was a member of the Holy Name Society and the Drews post of the American Legion.
Survivors are two brothers, Joseph of this city, Frank of Kellnersville; three
sisters, Mrs. John Steeber of route 5, Manitowoc, Mrs. John Svoboda of this city,
and Mary Milbauer of Taus.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from Tuesday noon until the hour of the
services. The rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 8:30.
