ARTHUR MUELLER (d. 1956)

Arthur E. Mueller (photo) former Manitowoc county treasurer and assistant
treasurer of the city of Manitowoc, died Sunday night after a short illness
at his home, 1402 S. 10th St., Manitowoc. He was 73.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. L.H. Koeninger will officiate and burial will be
in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mr. Mueller was born at Manitowoc March 19, 1883, son of the late Carl and
Augusta Nuenberg Mueller. He married Clara Behringer Aug. 29, 1906. For the
past 12 years he had served as trustee of Manitowoc County Hospital and from
1922 to 1932 was Manitowoc County treasurer. Before that he was assistant
treasurer for the city of Manitowoc.

Surviving him are his wife and three sisters, Mrs. Fred Kohlmeyer and Mrs.
William Schloerke of Milwaukee and Mrs. William Schmidt of Manitowoc.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
