BADER — December 7, 1981 at Medicine Hat, Mrs. Mathilda Bader, age 91 years, of Medicine Hat.

Mrs. Bader leaves to mourn her passing five daughters; Elsie Bader of Loma Linda, California, Leone Flynn of Medicine Hat, Esther Sayler of Medicine Hat, Ruby Hain of Walla Walla, Washington and Frances Campbell of College Heights, Alberta, sons Leonard Bader of Hilda, Wilbert Bader of Medicine Hat (at home), Cecil Bader of Salt Spring Island, B.C., and Gordon Bader also of Salt Spring Island, seventeen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Also surviving are three sisters Hilda Murschell of Medicine Hat, Elizabeth Williams of Edmonton and Esther Floyd of Moose Jaw, and four brothers John Maier of Lethbridge, George Maier of Medicine Hat, Gottlieb Maier of Acampo, California and Emil Maier of Calgary. She was predeceased by her husband Emanuel, June 15, 1964, two sons and two daughters.

Mathilda was born at Kulm, North Dakota, immigrated to Canada in 1911, married Emanuel Bader on the 24th of July 1915. They farmed in the Hilda area until 1943 when they retired to Medicine Hat where she resided until her passing.

Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in Cook's funeral Chapel with Pastor Dennis Braun officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in Chapel Lawn Cemetery. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to COOK'S FUNERAL CHAPEL LTD.
