Born in Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales. She was the daughter of John and Eliza (Harris) Davies. Sister of Emmanuel, Benjamin, Ebenezer, Nehemiah, Marianna Jones-Harper, Margaret and Gwenllian Williams. She immigrated to Canada in 1913 onboard the famous passenger ship Lusitania, which was later sunk by a German submarine in 1915 fueling American outrage and entry into World War I. She entered into marriage with Thomas Alexander Donald on September 10, 1927 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Thomas was the son of Alexander and Helen Darling (Masson) Donald. Their marriage produced only one child, Helen Donald. Ceridwen was preceeded in death by her husband Thomas in 1950. She passed away in Shoreline, King County, Washington at the age of 99, six months shy of her 100th birthday.
