FAULKENBURG, CSM Steven Wayne-- died November 9, 2004 while conducting combat operations in Fallujah, Iraq. CSM Faulkenburg is survived by wife, Tonya Kaye Faulkenburg; daughters, April Faulkenburg, Jennifer and Katherine Clifton; mother, Dorothy Faulkenburg; brothers, Jerry, Terry, James and Walter Faulkenburg; and sister, Mary Ann Brooks. CSM Faulkenburg was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star for his sacrifice and contributions while deployed in support of Iraqi Freedom II, plus many more medals and awards during his 26 years in the U. S. Army. CSM Faulkenburg will be posthumously granted an Honorary Graduate Certificate in Education from Touro University International.
