Claude Carson Clark, 58, of New Hope, died Saturday June 3, 1972 in a Princeton hospital following a short illness.
He was born August 28, 1913 in Susanna and was a son of the late Walter W. and Margaret Musick Clark.
He was a retired Norfolk and Western Railway brakeman.
Survivors include his widow, Frances Shrewsbury Clark; one daughter, Mrs. Teddy (Charlotte) Estep of Forest, Va.; one son, Larry Glen Clark of New Freedom, Pa.; five sisters, Mrs. Lorene Henley of Tovey, IL.; Mrs. Raymond (Merle) Siuth of Santa Anna, Ca., Mrs. Chris (Opal) Falcomata of Grant, N.M., Mrs. Steve (Jeanette) Kuffner of Keystone; and Mrs. Johnny (Louise) Beckett of Bluefield; four brothers, Carl Clark of Kincaid, IL., Thomas Clark of Elkhart, In., Hubert Clark of Abbs Valley, Va., and Walter Clark, Jr. of Bluefield; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in New Hope United Methodist Church with Rev. A.J. Young, Rev. Fred Cook, and Rev. Raymond Booth officiating.
Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Bluefield-Princeton Road.
Friends may call at Memorial Funeral Directory between 5 and 9 p.m. today or at the home of Walter Clark, Jr., 1019 Old Bramwell Road after 4 p.m. Tuesday and at the church one hour prior to services.
