Daughter of Maggie M. Brunson Baker and the late Willie C. Baker. Lillie served in the United States Navy for about 20 years and reached the rank of E5. She was very creative, inventive, and poetic. Lillie loved animals and could not ignore any animal needing help. She loved music, was part of a band, and sang in various clubs and venues. Shortly before her passing, she had begun to set up a music room in her home. She has worked as a volunteer Candy Striper in a hospital and a Nurses Aide in a nursing home; and supported children who were going through some form of hardship. She was Catholic and God was a part of everything she did. Lillie made friends very easily and her smile was the thing people remembered most. Besides her mother, she is survived by her two brothers, and a sister.
