She was the daughter of Samuel Henry Van Houter and Anna Hepler Van Houter She married Howard Franklin Keefer on November 11th 1902. She was the mother of Bernice, Donald Clare, Helen and Ann. According to old letters she was a meticulous housekeeper and loved to play the organ and sing. She was taken quite suddenly by a cerebral hemorrhage. She was sadly missed.
