There is little that I actually remember about my Uncle Toddy. After marrying Julia C. "Aunt Chattie" Hillier on September 6, 1973, he lived in Houston for awhile. During a visit, we went to Galveston and I got so sunburnt that I was sick. Aunt Chattie went back to her native Canada shortly after that visit. I often wonder what happened to her. I remember being called out of class one day to go to the office (maybe fifth grade) and my mother was there. We were going to Houston to get him because he had been injured somehow. After that, he moved to Tyler. At the time of his death, he worked for Transit Mix Cement Co.
