Ken was the oldest of five children. His siblings were Kaye, Roger, Paul, and Richard. All have passed away. Kenny and his brother, Roger, were close and spent a good part of their lives together in Idaho. They both loved to hunt, were good at it and had many good hunting buddies in and around Craigmont, Idaho. Kenny's last residence before moving to a veterans home in Lewiston was in Winchester, Idaho.
I first remember him when he lived with our family for a short time during World War II in Vallejo, California. We all called him "Uncle Happy."
Ken lived a most of his life after the war taking care of his parents in Sylmar, and later, Auburn, California. He worked for Lockheed Aircraft Corp. in Palmdale after serving in the U.S. Army (mostly in New Guinea) during the war.
He was married once, later divorced and had no children.
