Kenneth Calvin Herrmann was born on a dairy farm in the Colby, Wisconsin, area on February 19, 1924.
He was an administrator and teacher of astronomy and geology at Ambassador University in Pasadena, California from 1949 - 1973, he then moved to Gladewater, Texas, where he continued to teach at the Big Sandy campus until he retired in 1991. In 1998 he moved to Richardson, Texas.
Kenneth Herrmann was married to the late Dora Elise Bernard who died in 1997. Survivors include two brothers and a sister; a son, Karl, and 4 daughters, Susan, Brenda, Peggy Wright, and Edith Snuffer. He is also survived by 3 grandsons; a granddaughter; and one great-grandson.

Services Slated Tuesday For Kenneth Herrmann
Gladewater – Services for Kenneth Calvin Herrmann, 82, Richardson, formerly of Gladewater, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Restland Memorial Funeral Home, Dallas.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. in Gladewater Cemetery, Gladewater.
Mr. Herrmann died March 23, 2006, in Richardson.
He was born Feb. 19, 1924, in the Colby, Wis., area. He was a member of Worldwide Church of God and an administrator ad teacher of astronomy and geology at Ambassador College in Pasadena, Calif., 1949-1973. He moved to Gladewater, where he continued to teach at the Big Sandy campus, retiring in 1991. In 1998 he moved to Richardson.
He was preceded in death by wife, Dora Elise Bernard, in 1997.
Survivors include son, Karl, Richardson; daughters, Susan and Brenda, both of Louisville, Ohio, Peggy Wright, Flower Mound, and Edith Snuffer, Tyler; two brothers; one sister; 4 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
